Sunbrella Plus Heather Beige 152 cm Plus Fabric

Sunbrella Plus Heather Beige Marine and Awning Fabric

Sunbrella Plus Heather Beige is a premium marine and awning fabric developed to provide maximum protection against harsh marine and outdoor conditions. Unlike standard outdoor fabrics, its special polyurethane resin coating on the back, heathered mélange beige texture, and 152 cm width form a long-lasting shield for yacht projects and architectural shading systems.

Key Features:

• Advanced Waterproofing (Polyurethane Coating): Its polyurethane resin backing provides approximately 1000 mm hydrostatic head resistance. It offers about three times greater waterproofing than standard acrylic fabrics, providing full leak protection against heavy rain and sea spray.

• Excellent UV Fade Protection: Solution-dyed (solution-dyed) acrylic technology embeds pigments in the fiber core; the fabric does not lose color even in intense sunlight, UV exposure, and salty marine environments.

• Resistance to Mold, Mildew, and Moisture: Specially treated with an antifungal process for high humidity in marine environments; it does not harbor mold, bacteria, or odors.

• Soil-Concealing Mélange Texture: Heather Beige’s blend of light and dark beige yarns shows less dust, water spots, and environmental dirt than plain fabrics.

• Dimensional Stability and Tear Resistance: Resists stretching and sagging under wind loads and tension, retaining its shape for years.

• International Certifications: Certified by OEKO-TEX for the absence of harmful substances and GREENGUARD for low chemical emissions, and approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

• 5-Year Limited Warranty: Backed by Sunbrella’s industry-leading 5-year limited warranty.

Applications

• Marine and Yachts: Bimini tops, sprayhoods, flybridge shades, winter boat covers, winch, helm, and console covers.

• Architectural Shading and Pergola Systems: Fixed and retractable awnings, conservatory roof covers, windbreak panels, and café/restaurant outdoor shades.

• Outdoor Furniture Protection: Special waterproof protective covers (outdoor furniture covers) for luxury garden furniture exposed to harsh winter conditions and heavy rain.
